LEF Scholars Program

The LEF Scholars Program provides financial support to Howard County students who demonstrate academic promise, leadership, service, and a clear commitment to their educational goals. Through annual scholarships, the program helps reduce financial barriers and encourages persistence and success in postsecondary education.

Adopt A Student Scholarship

This program is designed for individuals to honor or memorialize a loved one—such as a parent, child, friend, or others—by awarding a scholarship in their name. A minimum donation of $100 is required to participate.

Community Scholarship

Community Scholarship Program This program is designed for churches, businesses, organizations, alumni groups, sororities, fraternities and clubs seeking to award scholarships through the Foundation. Participation in this program requires a minimum contribution of $500. View additional scholarship opportunities

W. Ruth Conway Scholarship:

The W. Ruth Conway Scholarship is awarded each year to African American high school seniors in Howard County, Maryland who are planning to attend a four-year college or university upon graduation and to Women of Color attending Howard Community College.
