Dr. Traci Dula, Vice President

Traci LM Dula, PhD.

As well as a Foundation Board Member, Dr. Dula is an active member in the Lambda Gamma Zeta chapter located in Howard County, Maryland where the Foundation is located. She has served in many capacities for the Chapter and other community advocacies and is honored to extend her work and reach to the community through the auspices of the Foundation.

Professionally, Dr. Dula is a 30 plus year administrator in higher education and is an independent researcher focusing on the history of higher education including race, equity and access; the history of HBCUs (historically Black Colleges and Universities); collegiate honors education; and the contemporary experiences of underrepresented collegians in honors programs within U.S. higher education institutions. She has worked alongside traditional age collegians and served in roles that have supported access as well as retention and student development.

Dr. Dula’s professional commitments to educational access, opportunity and the work of the Foundation are a perfect team and she hopes you will join our work in putting financial support in the hands of worthy aspiring collegians. While the cost of a college education has increased and sometimes seems unaffordable, our community cannot afford to not support post K-12 educational pursuits.

Dr. Dula and her husband, a member of Zeta’s brother organization, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, have three adult children
